Sudo announces iPod Classic-inspired audio player

Sudo has announced a new audio player designed as a spiritual successor to the Apple iPod Classic. The device features a “Tactile Wheel” that mimics the iconic circular navigation of the original, paired with a 2.73-inch LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels.

Modern upgrades include Bluetooth connectivity for wireless headphones, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and USB-C charging. The player runs on Sudo OS and supports both offline music playback and streaming services. While it features 64 GB of internal storage, it includes a microSD card slot that supports up to 1 TB of additional capacity.

The device measures 103.5 x 58.6 x 8.5 mm and offers a battery life of over 20 hours. Pre-orders are available in the United States for approximately $250, with the first shipments expected in the fourth quarter of 2027.
