Sudpack Group reduces total CO2e emissions by 21% since 2021
The Sudpack Group has reported a 21% reduction in its total CO2e emissions compared to its 2021 baseline. The company achieved a 73% reduction in Scopes 1 and 2, which cover direct emissions and purchased energy, moving closer to its 2030 target of 76.3%.
In Scope 3.1, which includes purchased goods and services, emissions decreased by 16% against a 2030 target of 25%. This category represents approximately two-thirds of the company’s total emissions.
Despite these reductions, the Corporate Carbon Footprint increased by 3.91% compared to the previous year. The company attributed this rise to higher sales volumes and the expansion of production facilities in Erolzheim, Germany, and Coulmer, France. As of early 2025, all of the company’s EU production sites utilize green electricity with certificates of origin.
