Suffolk University introduces new dining provider and meal plans

Suffolk University has implemented a new dining provider, Aramark, introducing significant changes to student meal plans for the fall semester. Following summer construction and the conclusion of the spring term, the university has transitioned to a system utilizing meal swipes, dining dollars, and meal exchanges.

Residential meal plans, which are required for most students living on campus, now range from $2,500 to $2,950. These plans provide all-you-can-eat access to the renovated Samia dining hall via meal swipes. Additionally, students can use meal exchanges to obtain combo meals at various retail locations, such as Smith Hall Café, Sargent Café, Café 73, Sal’s Pizza, and Samia on the go.

New commuter plans have also been introduced, with costs ranging from $325 to $1,450. These plans include a combination of meal swipes, dining dollars, and meal exchanges to accommodate students not living in university housing.
