Sufmi Dasco Ahmad celebrates 59th birthday amid calls for advocacy

Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), has turned 59. Various groups and observers have issued messages of congratulations and expressed expectations regarding his leadership.

Public policy observer Kamir Abdullah offered well wishes, hoping Dasco continues to provide space for public aspirations and maintains strong synergy between policymakers and the community to support national development.

Members of the Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK), including the Indonesian Association of PPPK Employees (AP3KI), also extended greetings. Representatives from the PPPK community expressed hopes that Dasco will consistently advocate for the welfare of both part-time and full-time government employees, calling for social justice and policies that address the needs of technical staff who often feel marginalized.
