Suframa conducts training on harassment prevention and public service ethics
The Superintendency of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (Suframa) is conducting a training program for its employees focused on preventing workplace harassment and strengthening ethics and integrity within the public service.
The program includes lectures on “Moral and Sexual Harassment at Work” and “Law No. 8.112/1990 – Disciplinary Regime of the Federal Public Servant.” These sessions cover concepts, responsibilities, rights, duties, and conduct related to public office.
Suframa Superintendent Leopoldo Montenegro stated that the initiative aims to build a more professional, ethical, and human institution. He emphasized that preventing and educating staff is essential to fostering a culture of respect and that leadership plays a critical role in maintaining healthy professional relationships.
