Sugar cargo trucks overturn on Route 38 in Argentina

A truck carrying sugar cargo overturned on Route 38 in the Tucumán region, resulting in material damage but no injuries to the drivers.

In one incident near the Monteros roundabout, a Mercedes Benz truck carrying sugarcane overturned during the early morning hours. The driver, 25-year-old Rodrigo Alejandro Banegas, reported no injuries and stated that no other vehicles were involved. Local police attended the scene to manage the material damage.

In a separate incident near San Francisco in the Famaillá department, an Iveco truck collided with a Volkswagen Amarok V6, causing the truck to overturn on its side. While both drivers escaped injury, the accident left cargo scattered along the roadside. Witnesses reported that several individuals attempted to take bags of sugar from the scene, prompting an increased police presence to secure the area and manage traffic.
