Sugar glider physical characteristics and dietary care

Sugar gliders (Petaurus breviceps) are small, nocturnal marsupials native to Australia, New Guinea, and Indonesia. A full-grown adult typically has a body length of 4 to 5 inches and a tail of similar length, resulting in a total length of approximately 8 to 10 inches. They generally weigh between 3 and 5 ounces.

Regarding nutrition, honey can be used as an occasional treat to provide an energy boost or to make medications more palatable. However, it must be given sparingly and diluted to avoid health risks such as obesity and dental issues.
