Sugichan visits popular Hokkaido curry shop using local custom

Japanese comedian Sugichan drew attention on social media after sharing photos of his visit to Curry Shop Indian, a popular establishment in the Tokachi region of Hokkaido.

In his posts on X, Sugichan showed himself holding up a large pot, noting that he brought his own container to have curry roux filled. This practice of bringing pots or Tupperware to purchase large quantities of curry is a well-established local custom in the Obihiro and Tokachi areas.

Followers reacted to the posts by commenting on his enthusiastic expression and noting that his behavior was very much in line with local residents, jokingly suggesting he has become a true member of the Hokkaido community.
