The package includes the Responsible Data Center Siting Act, the Data Center Fair Share Act, the Data Infrastructure Energy Measurement and Standards Act, and the Data Infrastructure Risk Reduction Act. Under the Responsible Data Center Siting Act, the U.S. Secretary of Energy would be tasked with establishing national best practices for data center locations, considering factors such as noise, utility bills, and environmental consequences.
