Sui implements quantum-resistant security upgrade
The Sui network has introduced a security upgrade to defend against future quantum computing threats by implementing two NIST-certified, quantum-resistant digital signature algorithms. One algorithm is intended for standard account security, while the second provides enhanced protection for high-value Move vaults. Users can upgrade to these quantum-safe keys using their existing recovery phrases, allowing them to maintain their current blockchain addresses and transaction histories without moving funds.
In market activity, the SUI token has seen a 4.12% increase in value over a 24-hour period, reaching approximately $0.6972. Analysts note that buyers have been defending a support zone between $0.66 and $0.67. If the token can break through the $0.70 resistance level, it may target the $0.72 region, though maintaining the current support levels remains critical for a sustained recovery.
