Sui Network partners with Daya HQ for African stablecoin payments

Sui Network has launched as the settlement infrastructure for Daya HQ, a move designed to facilitate cross-border payments and treasury management for businesses across Africa. The integration is currently live across Daya Business, Daya Pro, and Daya APIs.

A key feature of this partnership is the enablement of gasless stablecoin transfers. This mechanism allows businesses to move stablecoins without paying traditional blockchain gas fees, which aims to reduce barriers to efficient financial movement. Adeniyi Abiodun, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Mysten Labs, stated that gasless transfers help deliver financial products that are “fast, reliable, and global.”

Daya currently operates in Nigeria and intends to expand its footprint into South Africa, Ghana, and Kenya as it activates additional local-currency payment rails. The collaboration focuses on providing the financial infrastructure necessary for African businesses to manage liquidity, remittances, and treasury rebalancing more effectively.
