Suica Penguin merchandise to see new releases and resales in Japan

New Suica Penguin themed merchandise is being released in Japan. JR East Service Creation has announced the resale of the Suica Penguin Attendant Mascot (Pink Scarf) starting October 17, 2026. This item, priced at 2,500 yen, features a scarf pattern identical to those worn by train attendants and is tied in a rose shape. Sales are limited to onboard service wagons on specific Shinkansen lines (Tohoku, Joetsu, Yamagata, Akita, Hokuriku), the Azusa limited express, the Hitachi limited express, and Green Cars in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

Additionally, Kinokuniya is scheduled to release a Suica Penguin Mascot Bag in late October 2026. This product features a penguin mascot with a carabiner that can be attached to other bags. The design allows users to pull an eco-bag out from the penguin's back, creating a playful visual of the character carrying a shopping bag. This is noted as the final Suica Penguin branded product to be released by Kinokuniya.
