Suikoden STAR LEAP rises in Google Play Japan sales rankings

Konami Digital Entertainment’s mobile RPG, ‘Suikoden STAR LEAP’, saw a significant rise in the Google Play Japan sales rankings, climbing from 42nd to 15th place as of September 25. This surge follows the release of the game’s third story chapter and a new gacha event featuring characters Rachana, Gremio, and Hou.

The game, which serves as a prequel to the original 1995 series, features a mix of retro pixel art and modern graphics. Players can engage in tactical battles using a timeline-based system and manage village facilities to rebuild their home base.

Additionally, Bilibili’s ‘Trickcal’ experienced a sharp increase in rankings, jumping from 69th to 16th place due to its one-year anniversary event and the introduction of a new character, Joan. HoYoverse’s ‘Genshin Impact’ maintained its position at the top of the charts.
