According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index as of August 12, 2026, Sukanto Tanoto has become the wealthiest tycoon in Indonesia. Tanoto ranks 108th globally with a net worth of $24.0 billion, marking a daily increase of $167 million and a year-to-date growth of $2.25 billion.

Prajogo Pangestu follows at 126th place with $21.3 billion. While Pangestu saw the largest single-day wealth increase among Indonesian billionaires with a jump of $1.92 billion, his year-to-date wealth has decreased by $24.8 billion.

Other notable Indonesian billionaires include Low Tuck Kwong, ranked 182nd with $16.8 billion, and Budi Hartono, ranked 215th with $15.0 billion. The index highlights the high volatility of billionaire wealth driven by daily fluctuations in stock prices and company conditions.
