Sukesan Udon expands via restaurant conversions in Saitama and Kyoto
Sukesan Udon, the Kitakyushu-based noodle chain, is expanding its footprint through business conversions of existing restaurant locations.
In Saitama Prefecture, the Sukesan Udon Kodama store is scheduled to open on September 17, 2026, in Honjo City. This new location will occupy the former site of a Gusto restaurant. The facility will feature 81 seats and 61 parking spaces, offering signature dishes such as meat and burdock tempura udon and Kitakyushu-style chicken udon.
In Kyoto Prefecture, the Sukesan Udon Kyoto Katsura store will grand open on September 24, 2026. This location, which marks the chain's second store in Kyoto, is converting from a Steak Gusto. The new establishment will operate 24 hours a day without additional late-night fees, providing 90 seats and 36 parking spaces.
