Director Sukumar has won the National Film Award for Best Original Screenplay for the film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. Actor Allu Arjun, who previously won the Best Actor award for ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, expressed his emotional congratulations to Sukumar on X, stating that the honor felt as significant to him as his own award.

The film also secured awards for Best Costume Design, won by Deepali Noor and Sheetal Sharma. Producers from Mythri Movie Makers noted that the franchise has achieved a rare combination of massive commercial success and critical recognition through these national honors.

Other notable winners in the Telugu film industry included ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, which won Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Production Design, and ‘35 Chinna Katha Kaadu’, which received the Best Children's Film award.
