Suleman Sani transfers from RB Leipzig to Al-Qadsiah

Nigerian winger Suleman Sani has completed a transfer from RB Leipzig to Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah. The deal, finalized on the final day of the Saudi Arabian transfer window, is reported to be worth up to €8 million.

Sani, a 20-year-old Nigerian youth international, joined the Bundesliga side from Slovakian club AS Trencin in January 2026 for approximately €5 million. Despite the initial investment and a contract running until 2031, Sani did not make a competitive appearance for Leipzig due to injuries and high competition for places in the squad.

Sani is expected to sign a three-year contract with Al-Qadsiah, which includes an option for an additional season. The move follows his successful stint in Slovakia, where he recorded 16 goals and seven assists in 59 matches. He began his professional career with Akwa United in Nigeria.
