Sullivan & Cromwell opens new office in Abu Dhabi

Sullivan & Cromwell LLP has announced the opening of a new office in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) to expand its presence in the Middle East. The move is intended to strengthen the firm’s ability to serve clients in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and the broader region.

Ahmed T. el-Gaili has rejoined the firm as a partner to lead the Middle East practice. El-Gaili brings nearly two decades of regional experience, having previously advised sovereign wealth funds, state-owned enterprises, and governments on complex cross-border transactions in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and technology.
