Sullivan’s Crossing season 5 begins production in Halifax

Production has officially commenced for the fifth season of the romance series Sullivan’s Crossing in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Lead actors Morgan Kohan and Chad Michael Murray announced the news via the show’s Instagram page, expressing excitement about returning to the location and promising fans “a bit of drama” and several surprises.

Filming is scheduled to run from August 25, 2026, to December 11, 2026, across various Nova Scotia locations, including Halifax, Hubbards, Sackville, and Mi’kmaq First Nations territories. Floyd Kane has taken over as showrunner from Roma Roth.

The series, based on the works of Robyn Carr, follows neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan as she navigates life and romance in a rural setting. Following the events of the fourth season finale, the upcoming season will continue the story of Maggie and Cal Jones.
