Sulmona center-left leaders meet to unify ahead of elections

Former Mayor Bruno Di Masci has convened a summit of former center-left administrators in Sulmona to rebuild political unity ahead of upcoming elections. The meeting aimed to consolidate the local center-left faction and establish a list of regional priorities to present to Senator Luciano D’Alfonso, the former President of the Abruzzo Region.

Participants included former mayors and regional councilors, such as Peppino Ranalli and Franco La Civita. The group intends to move past previous internal divisions and political infighting to address local issues. As part of this initiative, a “laboratory for ideas” is being established to foster new political engagement and provide concrete objectives for the city and its surrounding territory.
