Sultan of Brunei's $5 B Car Collection and Turkish Miniature Collector's 15,000 Models

The Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, owns one of the world's most valuable private automobile collections, estimated at about 7,000 vehicles worth roughly US$5 billion. The garage reportedly includes rare models such as up to eleven McLaren F1s, hundreds of Rolls‑Royce cars, multiple Ferraris, Bentleys, and other exclusive supercars, many of which have been photographed gathering dust in storage.

In Turkey, hobbyist Murat Cingöz from the town of Sivas has spent more than three decades amassing a private museum of over 15,000 scale model cars. Displayed in a single room he calls the “room of happiness,” the collection features miniature replicas from Japan, China, the United States and many other countries, showcasing a wide variety of makes, colors and eras. Cingöz began collecting at age eight and has built a highly detailed, diversified showcase that he says provides a personal escape from everyday stress.
