Sultan Selangor inaugurates Royal Selangor Polo and Equestrian Club

Sultan Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, and Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin officially inaugurated the Royal Selangor Polo and Equestrian Club (RSPEC) in Cyberjaya. The ceremony was held in conjunction with the Sultan’s Silver Jubilee celebrations.

During the event, the Sultan also inaugurated a horse sculpture created by contemporary artist Datuk Yusof Ghani. RSPEC was developed with the vision of elevating polo and equestrian sports while serving as a recreational destination to boost sports tourism in Selangor.

The facility is built to international standards and includes a polo field, a one-kilometer sand track, 136 stables, and both indoor and outdoor arenas. Additionally, the complex features the Sejiwa Social Club, which offers facilities for pickleball, padel, futsal, tennis, basketball, and golf. The club also supports the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Selangor, providing equestrian therapy for children with disabilities.
