Sultan Stevenson Trio to perform in Sardinia for Jazz Club Network

The ninth edition of the Jazz Club Network returns to Sardinia following the summer break. The sixth stage of the concert circuit will feature the Sultan Stevenson Trio, led by London-based pianist Sultan Stevenson alongside Jacob Gryn on double bass and Will Cleasby on drums.

Performances are scheduled for Friday, October 2, at Jazzino in Cagliari at 21:45, and Saturday, October 3, at Il Vecchio Mulino in Sassari at 20:30. The event marks the reopening of the Jazzino venues for a new season of live music and dining.

Sultan Stevenson, a recipient of the Parliamentary Jazz Award for best newcomer, is noted for a style that blends contemporary jazz complexity with gospel roots. His recent work includes the critically acclaimed second album, El Roi.
