Sultangazi launches Anatolian Culture Festival with Malatya theme

The Anatolian Culture Festival has commenced in Sultangazi, beginning with the Malatya regional product days and grape festival. Organized by the Sultangazi Municipality in collaboration with the Malatya Associations Federation (MADEF), the event aims to introduce various regional cultures, traditions, and gastronomy to local residents.

Sultangazi Mayor Abdurrahman Dursun stated that the festival will feature 14 different provinces throughout the season, fostering community ties and preserving cultural heritage. The event is expected to host various regional groups, including those from Adıyaman, Kastamonu, Trabzon, and Rize, in the coming weeks.

Additionally, Mayor Dursun announced a major solar energy plant (GES) project being established in Malatya. The municipality has been allocated 300,000 decares of land by the treasury for this initiative. The project is expected to be completed by December 15, with an estimated monthly revenue of 20 million lira, which will be used to cover public lighting costs in Sultangazi for decades.
