Sultanhisar and Lefke municipalities sign sister city protocol

Sultanhisar Municipality in Aydın and Lefke Municipality in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus have signed a sister city protocol to strengthen ties between the two regions.

The agreement, signed by Sultanhisar Mayor Osman Yıldırımkaya and Lefke Mayor Fırat Ataser, aims to foster cooperation in areas including culture, traditions, municipal experiences, and service methodologies. Mayor Yıldırımkaya stated that the protocol seeks to build a permanent bridge of friendship and shared values through mutual exchange.

The partnership follows previous interactions between the municipalities, including a visit by Mayor Ataser to the 54th Strawberry Festival held in Sultanhisar.
