Sumaré leads business openings in Brazil's Textile Pole Region

Sumaré has emerged as the leader in new business openings within the Textile Pole Region (RPT) during the first seven months of 2026. According to data from the Sumaré Municipal Department of Economy, the municipality registered 6,844 new companies, accounting for 29.1% of the 23,522 new businesses established across the five municipalities in the region.

Sumaré's performance was followed by Hortolândia with 6,131 new companies, Americana with 5,442, Santa Bárbara d’Oeste with 3,709, and Nova Odessa with 1,396. Together, Sumaré and Hortolândia represent 55.2% of all new enterprises in the RPT, highlighting their significant role in the regional economic expansion.
