Indonesia police conduct multiple narcotics seizures and arrests

Indonesian police have conducted several successful operations against narcotics trafficking across various regions, resulting in numerous arrests and the seizure of significant quantities of illegal substances.

In Kolaka, authorities apprehended two men at a PT KNI facility for suspected methamphetamine use and distribution. In Tabalong, a 44-year-old man was arrested after being found with approximately 120 grams of methamphetamine. Meanwhile, in Bireuen, two youths were intercepted while traveling by motorcycle, leading to the seizure of 2.42 grams of methamphetamine hidden in a cigarette box.

Other major seizures include 56.3 grams of methamphetamine in Pasuruan involving three suspects, and the discovery of 27 marijuana packages in Agam. Additionally, law enforcement intercepted a shipment of 857 etomidate cartridges valued at Rp2.56 billion, and uncovered 2.6 tons of liquid methamphetamine in Riau Islands that could potentially be converted into 2 million narcotic vape cartridges.
