Sumirago inaugurates new 768,000 euro roundabout
The municipality of Sumirago is inaugurating a new roundabout on via De Gasperi on September 12. The project, costing over 768,000 euros, is designed to improve traffic safety and access to local school and sports facilities.
Funding for the project includes 598,000 euros from a grant awarded by the Province of Varese and a 170,000 euro direct investment from the Sumirago municipal administration. In addition to the roundabout, the works involved the redevelopment of the school and sports complex, the installation of new road signage, and the protection of trees along via Carducci.
