Sumitomo Mitsui expands Olive service with new cashing and promotions

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Sumitomo Mitsui Card have expanded their integrated financial service, Olive, with new features and promotional campaigns.

A new cashing service called ‘Money Assist Plus’ has been added for Olive flexible pay credit mode users aged 20 and older. The service offers annual interest rates ranging from 1% to 15%, with preferential rates based on the user's Olive activity. Borrowing limits range from 50,000 to 9,000,000 yen, and the entire process is managed via smartphone. Additionally, the service participates in the ‘V Point Up Program,’ where users can earn increased V Point rewards at convenience stores and restaurants based on their outstanding borrowing balance.

Separately, the third installment of the ‘Olive Day’ campaign is concluding its entry period on September 30, 2026. Members who enter the campaign and enable promotional emails in the banking app are eligible for a 130-yen discount coupon for Seven Cafe products at Seven-Eleven stores nationwide. Coupons are scheduled to be distributed via email around October 8, 2026.
