Summer activities at Château du Rivau and closures in Bourg-en-Bresse

Château du Rivau has announced its summer activity program for 2026, running from July 4 to August 31. The schedule includes themed tours, scavenger hunts, and escape games designed for children and families. The site offers various amenities including accessible paths for strollers and wheelchairs, on-site dining at La Table des fées, and free parking.

In Bourg-en-Bresse, the Carré d’eau nautical center will undergo its annual technical closure from August 31 to September 20, 2026. Following the closure, adult activity registrations will open online between September 1 and September 10. Due to a temporary shortage of lifeguards, certain sessions such as Aqua Fitness and Aqua Power will be offered only on a per-session basis rather than through annual subscriptions until staffing levels are reinforced. Regular activities are scheduled to resume on September 21, 2026.
