Summer art exhibitions open across Spain celebrating local painters and cultural legacy
The Espacio Alameda in Soria is hosting Antonio Soria's exhibition “De masa madre” until 1 July. The show presents forty paintings that transform the craft of bread‑making and the artist’s family bakery heritage into visual art.
The Torre de los Anaya in Salamanca features the return of native painter F. Gochi with a free‑entry exhibition “De los horizontes de Castilla a las verticales del Norte” running through 12 July. The collection highlights expressionist and fauvist landscapes of the Castilian plateau and northern scenery.
The Centro Cultural Fundos Fórum Soria – Gaya Nuño has opened “Gaya Nuño. Una modernidad española” – a free exhibition displaying about 300 books, artworks and documents that trace the critic’s influence on Spanish modern art. It will remain open until 13 September, with an accompanying catalogue launch and scholarly talks in early July.
