Summer festivals scheduled for Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore

Various summer festivals and cultural events are taking place across the Piedmont region in Italy, specifically around Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore.

In Omegna, on the shores of Lake Orta, the 123rd San Vito Festival is scheduled from August 21 to 31. The event features a diverse program including religious celebrations, musical performances ranging from classical to disco, and pyromusical shows over the lake. Notable highlights include a 90s music night, a cinematic pyromusical show by GFG Pyro, and a dance event featuring Radio 105 DJs.

On Lake Maggiore, the town of Baveno is hosting the ‘Baveno d’Incanto’ event through August 23. The program emphasizes dancing fountains with light and music shows, piano concerts, and culinary demonstrations such as a cooking show by Chef Marco Sacco. The summer season will conclude on August 23 with a finale featuring luminous fountains and a drone choreography over the Borromeo Gulf.
