Summer Game Fest 2026 gaming showcase streams new trailers

The Summer Game Fest 2026 opened on 5 June with a two‑hour live stream hosted by Canadian games journalist Geoff Keighley. The event, streamed worldwide on YouTube and Twitch, featured a slate of new game announcements and trailers.

Key reveals included a Resident Evil – Code Veronica remake, a Mighty Cuphead adventure for the Master System, Alien Isolation 2, and the Chinese action‑RPG Blood Message. Other titles shown were Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – The Last Ronin, Guild Wars 3, and a Final Fantasy VII Revelation trailer, among dozens of others. The stream was recorded and made available shortly after the live broadcast.

Geoff Keighley, who also produces the Game Awards, highlighted the showcase as a preview of the year’s major releases and upcoming surprises for gamers worldwide.
