The Summer Game Fest main show ran from June 5‑8 in Los Angeles, featuring several high‑profile game announcements. Capcom revealed a remake of Resident Evil Code Veronica, titled Resident Evil Veronica, scheduled for release in 2027. Japanese designer Fumito Ueda introduced a new sci‑fi action game called Atlas, with no launch date announced. Patrice Désilets' studio Panache Digital Games presented 1666 Amsterdam, a historically set European adventure also without a set release date. Square Enix confirmed the next chapter of its Final Fantasy VII remake, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, slated for spring 2027.

Separately, Quickfire Games released a one‑hour demo of Prelude Dark Pain on Steam. The Early Access title showcases tactical medieval turn‑based combat, a dark‑fantasy comic‑style visual design, and an extra battle that highlights the game's character abilities.
