Summer music festivals underway in Heino and Lievegem

Various music and entertainment events are taking place across the region this August. In Heino, the Pompdagen festivities feature a diverse musical program across local hospitality venues. Performers include Rutger van Barneveld, rapper Yes-R, and various DJs and cover bands, offering genres ranging from pop hits to rock and electronic beats.

In Lievegem, the Rijvers festival is running from August 13 to August 16. Due to high summer temperatures, organizers have implemented safety measures to protect thousands of attendees. These precautions include providing extra shade, free sunscreen, and water to help visitors manage the heat while enjoying the four-day event.
