Summerland to host mega market for wildfire recovery

The Summerland Rotary Club is hosting the ‘Summerland- Our Doors Are Open’ mega market on Sunday, Sept. 6, to assist local businesses recovering from recent wildfires. The event will take place on Main Street and Downtown from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Organizers stated the market has reached capacity, with the number of vendors doubling compared to last year. The initiative aims to help businesses reconnect with customers and recover revenue lost during the summer wildfire season. The event will also feature live music from local musicians Robert Johnson and Mandy Cole.
