Summerset Group reports strong Q3 resales amid market shifts

Summerset Group Holdings Limited reported 415 occupation right sales for the third quarter ending 30 September 2026. This total includes 175 new sales and 240 resales. Year-to-date sales reached 1,228, representing a 10% increase over the first nine months of FY25, driven largely by a 27% rise in resales.

Chief Executive Scott Scoullar noted that while new sales for Q3 were lower than the same period in 2025 due to economic uncertainty and delays in home sales, resales saw a 36% increase compared to Q3 2025. The Canterbury region was a significant contributor, accounting for 15% of total sales with 63 units.

Despite an increase in the Deferred Management Fee (DMF) to 30%, the company reported no material change in contracting rates. Scoullar expressed confidence in sales rates for the remainder of 2026, citing strong demand and a solid pipeline of potential contracts.
