Summit Mulheres nas Profissões gathers 20,000 in São Paulo

The first edition of the Summit Mulheres nas Profissões took place on August 4 and 5 at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, drawing approximately 20,000 participants. The event featured eight simultaneous arenas covering topics such as entrepreneurship, technology, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and agribusiness.

During the opening, Luiza Helena Trajano, president of the Mulheres do Brasil Group and the Magazine Luiza Council, announced a goal to increase the number of women in leadership positions by 50%.

Key speakers included journalist Ana Paula Padrão, who addressed the exhaustion and economic responsibilities faced by Brazilian women, and journalist Ana Paula Renault, who discussed confidence, autonomy, and the systemic structures that impact female self-esteem and body image.
