Summonte hosts 28th edition of Sentieri Mediterranei festival

The 28th edition of the Sentieri Mediterranei festival has launched in Summonte, Italy, with a focus on regional tourism, gastronomy, nature, and quality craftsmanship. The inaugural event featured local mayors and regional tourism assessor Enzo Maraio, who highlighted the initiative's importance for territorial marketing.

A key highlight of the program includes a ceremony at the Summonte Town Hall to confer honorary citizenship upon Antony Arthur Cucolo III. In recognition of Antonio Cucolo, the council chamber will also be named in his memory to honor the lasting ties between the village and his legacy.

The festival schedule includes musical performances in the historic center, hiking excursions to the Eremo di San Silvestro, and the ‘Irpinia Mood’ food village featuring Michelin-starred chefs.
