Sumo Show Tokyo brings interactive sumo experience to Sunamachi Ginza, Tokyo

The Sunamachi Ginza Sumo Arena, located on the Sunamachi Ginza shopping street in Koto ward, Tokyo, offers a 90‑minute interactive program for international visitors. The show features close‑up sumo demonstrations, English commentary on the sport’s history, rules and traditions, and a chance for participants to step onto the dohyo and challenge a professional sumo wrestler. Attendees also receive a free map highlighting local shops and street‑food stalls.
