Sumo wrestler Enho holds marriage press conference

Sumo wrestler Enho (real name Tomoya Nakamura), currently ranked in the Juryo division, held a marriage press conference on the 26th at his stable's residence in Dazaifu, Fukuoka Prefecture. He announced his marriage to Miki (née Hayashi), noting that they officially registered their marriage on August 8.

The couple began dating during a period when Enho was recovering from a severe neck injury that had caused him to fall from the Juryo division to the Jonokuchi division. Enho described his wife as a “sun-like existence” who provided hope and light during his darkest days of recovery. He credited her support, including nutritional care to help him gain weight, for his ability to return to the ring.

During the conference, Enho expressed his determination to succeed in the upcoming Kyushu tournament and his goal to climb higher in the rankings. He stated his intention to make his wife happy throughout their lives.
