Sumsub expands identity verification services for MiniPay and FOMO Pay

Sumsub has launched its Reusable KYC Gateway, with MiniPay serving as the first live integrator. The technology allows users within the MiniPay ecosystem—which spans over 70 countries and 20 million wallets—to verify their identity once and reuse that verification across a network of regulated partners, such as card issuers and payment providers. This aims to reduce repetitive document uploads and improve user conversion.

In a separate development, Singapore-based FOMO Pay has partnered with Sumsub to enhance its fraud defenses against rising AI-powered attacks. The partnership integrates Sumsub’s identity verification, AML screening, and transaction monitoring tools. This move comes as reports indicate a significant rise in deepfake incidents in regions including Singapore and Hong Kong, with Sumsub’s liveness detection technology designed to identify up to 99.98 per cent of deepfake attempts.
