Sun care: New tanning balm launch and sunscreen preservation tips
Aroma-Zone has launched a multi-action Monoï & Shea Butter melting balm designed to prepare the skin for sun exposure, intensify tan color, and fix golden pigments. Priced at €13.95 for 90 ml, the formula uses a tyrosine complex and Isochrysis Tahiti extract without controversial self-tanning molecules. It also includes organic shea butter and organic monoï oil to nourish and soothe the skin.
Regarding sun care maintenance, experts warn that heat and light can degrade sunscreen filters. When temperatures exceed 25°C, the emulsion structure can break down, reducing the effective SPF and leaving skin vulnerable to UVA and UVB rays. To prevent product spoilage, it is recommended to store sunscreens in insulated bags, keep them in the shade, and ensure caps are tightly closed to avoid oxidation and bacterial growth.
