Sun Drug adopts CIERTO to centralize e-commerce product data

Sun Drug Co., Ltd., a major Japanese drugstore chain, has decided to adopt ‘CIERTO’, an integrated Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Product Information Management (PIM) solution provided by Visual Processing Japan Co., Ltd.

The company is replacing its existing overseas system with this domestic solution to centralize the management of product images and detailed information—such as efficacy, capacity, and ingredients—for its own e-commerce site and various online marketplaces.

By integrating DAM and PIM into a single platform, Sun Drug aims to streamline the workflow from product registration to approval, improve secure information sharing with suppliers, and automatically format data to meet the specific requirements of different e-commerce channels. This transition is intended to reduce lead times and enhance the overall customer product experience.
