Sun Group launches first sunrise program at Fansipan - Sa Pa complex

Sun World Fansipan Legend has announced a first-of-its-kind sunrise program at the Fansipan - Sa Pa tourism complex to coincide with the upcoming National Day holiday. On August 31 and September 1, the site will offer a special sunrise experience, featuring the first cable car departure of the day at 5:00 AM—a time slot previously unavailable to tourists.

Limited to 100 tickets per day, the package includes cable car access, a mountain climbing train, beverages, and pastries at Cafe Du Soleil. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend a flag-raising ceremony at the Fansipan peak, situated at an altitude of 3,143 meters. The event aligns with the local rice harvest season in Sa Pa and the Brocade Festival at Ban May, which runs through September 6.

The Fansipan cable car system, which holds two Guinness World Records, marks its tenth year of operation. The project, initiated by Sun Group, involved an initial investment of 4.4 trillion VND and officially began operations in February 2016.
