Sun Group's 7,000 billion VND Mang Den project faces land compensation review

Authorities in Quang Ngai province are reviewing land compensation prices and support policies for the Mang Den Urban Area No. 01 project. The 7,000 billion VND project is being developed by Sun World Group on approximately 264.4 hectares in Dak Long village, Mang Den commune.

During a dialogue on September 18, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam met with affected residents to address grievances regarding site clearance and compensation. Residents have requested a reassessment of land valuation methods and more appropriate support for crops, houses, and structures located on agricultural land.

In response, officials have been directed to coordinate with relevant departments to clarify the legal basis for land pricing and support policies. This includes a detailed review of land origins, usage history, and boundaries, as well as ensuring accurate counting of assets and structures to ensure legal rights are protected.
