Sun Group's 9.7 trillion VND An Phu urban project advances

The An Phu New Urban Area project in Quang Ngai province, a development by a Sun Group consortium, is moving forward with a total investment of approximately 9,727 billion VND. The project covers an area of about 162 hectares located between the Tra Khuc River and nearby major roads.

Local authorities, including Provincial Party Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Duc Tuy, have inspected the site to expedite compensation, site clearance, and resettlement efforts. The affected area in Truong Quang Trong ward involves approximately 161 hectares, impacting over 1,200 households and individuals. The provincial Land Fund Development Center is tasked with accelerating the clearance of 70-80 hectares of agricultural land to create clean land for project implementation.

A consortium consisting of Central Technical Infrastructure Management and Service Co., Ltd and Da Nang Sun Real Estate Service Co., Ltd has submitted an environmental impact assessment report for the project.
