Sun Life launches integrated private-wealth platform for HNW clients
Sun Life announced the launch of Sun Life Private Wealth, an integrated platform designed for high‑net‑worth (HNW) and ultra‑high‑net‑worth (UHNW) individuals, families and advisers. The platform unifies underwriting, intake and support across Sun Life’s three centres in Singapore, Hong Kong and Bermuda, offering a single global experience and round‑the‑clock service.
CEO Sujoy Ghosh said the new system provides “one experience to the client, one global standard in terms of our underwriting and operations,” reducing complexity for distribution partners. The launch follows research showing that 67% of HNW respondents in Singapore and 44% in Hong Kong worry about preserving wealth beyond their children’s generation, while 89% and 91% respectively have sought professional legacy‑planning advice.
Industry data cited include the Capgemini World Wealth Report, which estimates global HNW wealth rose 8.7% to US$98.3 trillion in 2025, with Asia‑Pacific growing 10.5%, and BCG’s Global Wealth Report noting cross‑border wealth increased 8.4% to US$15.7 trillion. Sun Life’s platform aims to meet the growing demand for seamless, cross‑jurisdictional wealth solutions in the region.
