Sun Pharma to present LEQSELVI long-term data at EADV 2026

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has announced that it will present seven presentations regarding LEQSELVI (deuruxolitinib) at the 2026 European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Congress. The presentations will focus on long-term safety and efficacy data for adults with severe alopecia areata (AA).

Data from a European open-label extension study evaluating up to two years of treatment indicated that the safety profile of LEQSELVI remained consistent with previous clinical findings. Most treatment-emergent adverse events were mild or moderate, and no deaths, thrombosis, or major adverse cardiovascular events were reported in patients receiving the FDA-approved 8 mg twice-daily dose.

Regarding efficacy, the study showed durable scalp hair regrowth through Week 108. Among baseline responders who maintained their response at Week 52 and continued the study, 93.9% maintained that response through Week 108. Additionally, 76.6% of baseline nonresponders achieved a response by Week 52; of those responders who continued, 96.8% maintained their response at Week 108.
