Sun PhuQuoc Airways launches Cam Ranh - Dong Hoi flight route

Sun PhuQuoc Airways has officially launched a new direct flight route connecting Cam Ranh International Airport in Khanh Hoa province to Dong Hoi Airport in Quang Tri province. The inaugural flight, which carried 172 passengers, landed in Quang Tri on the afternoon of August 16, 2026, and was welcomed with a traditional water cannon salute.

The new service will operate three round trips per week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flight schedules include a departure from Cam Ranh at 14:05 arriving in Dong Hoi at 15:30, and a return departure from Dong Hoi at 12:05 arriving in Cam Ranh at 13:25.

The route aims to strengthen economic, commercial, and tourism links between the two provinces. By connecting Khanh Hoa’s coastal and resort strengths with Quang Tri’s historical, ecological, and cave tourism, the airline seeks to facilitate regional travel and provide Quang Tri with better access to international travelers via Cam Ranh. The expansion is also expected to promote investment and trade between the South Central Coast and Quang Tri.
